Mosquito nets keep insects and other vermin at a distance  and ensure a peaceful night’s rest.
Mosquito nets only provide extra protection against mosquitoes and malaria mosquitoes when 
they are closed on all sides, are properly impregnated and their mesh is no courser than
 1.75 mm. If the mesh is too fine, it can become muggy under the net in a damp tropical or 
subtropical climate and so is not suitable for those purposes. Our mosquito nets were 
designed in a bespoke atelier and are manufactured under the strictest quality standards. The 
high-quality multi-fibre polyester is ideal for durable impregnation and 
guarantees a long life span.
 
Impregnation 
For optimum protection it is essential to impregnate the mosquito with the proper concentration
 of contact insecticide. The contact insecticide used on all our impregnated Mosquito Nets is deadly 
for mosquitoes and other vermin, but harmless to people. Impregnation provides extra protection
as mosquitoes do not even get the chance to land on and bite through the net. The WHO 
recommends Long Lasting impregnated mosquito nets for high-risk malaria areas (tropical Africa,
Amazon region, parts of South East Asia).

Mosquito nets are available in three varieties: untreated, standard impregnation, and Long Lasting 
Impregnation (LLI).
Untreated mosquito nets are ideal for at home or where there is no mosquito-bourne diseases. When travelling to areas where malaria is a 
risk factor, impregnated mosquito nets are recommended. Standard impregnated mosquito nets 
remain effective for only 6 months when used; these nets are washable, but no longer effective once
 washed. After being washed just once they must be impregnated again, which not only puts a strain on the environment but costs you more financially. The useful lifespan of 
the impregnation improves if impregnated mosquito nets are stored in a dark space after use.

We only stock Long Lasting Impregnated
(LLI) mosquito nets. incognito is the first company to introduce them into the UK. By using this new 
technology the impregnation remains effective 5 times longer than standard impregnated 
mosquito nets. Furthermore, the nets can be washed without losing their effectiveness. 
All LLI mosquito nets sold by us meet the requirements of the WHO 
(World Health Organization). The impregnation is effective up to 3 years when used 
daily and the nets can be washed up to 20 times.

The mesh we use in our nets has 365 holes to the inch, which is over twice the recommended standard for effective malaria protection of 156.  The small sand fly, however, which also transmits diseases to humans, can pass through the mesh size on the majority of nets but not with our nets, due to their smaller holes/finer mesh.  Indeed, all of our nets will keep out virtually all insects. So you will have complete peace of mind while you sleep!

In addition, for every net purchased, the equivalent net is donated to a village in Africa – this programme is called ‘a net for a net’.   These nets can withstand at least 20 washes without losing any efficacy.  Store the net in it’s handy case for maximum effectiveness when not in use.
