  This spray quite simply works. I see a lot of your testimonials are about far flung locations, but I suffer really badly from bites in this country (UK), and Incognito has stopped me from being terrified of the countryside. I do volunteer conservation work and last year we did some haymaking on a local reserve which is heaving with woodland mosquitos, so we did a test - Incognito vs deet and other sprays. You could actually see the mossies landing on all my colleagues and flying towards me - but then flying away. I'm also assured that I don't smell bad wearing Incognito - even quite nice and citronella-y. The only bites I get are in places I haven't sprayed carefully enough - like the tips of ears! So thank you for creating a natural, nice-smelling and most importantly, effective product. I now always carry some in my bag!

• Praise Alert! Praise Alert! from Kenya

  Hello Lovely People of incognito!

  Just wanted to report back from the order that I placed whilst living out in Kenya and somewhat desperate for some relief from nasty little ankle biters – well all over biters!
  I recently ordered the shampoo, after sun, oil, soap, incense sticks and several bottles of the spray, (desperate, much!).

  I couldn't find anything out here that was remotely good at keeping the bugs away; mainly just inviting them to dine out on my body.

  Firstly, amazing: the package reached Nairobi in 2 days, door to door, and didn't cost the earth to get here.
  Secondly, none of the products are sticky or smell overall of lemon (wasn't too keen on smelling like an advert for washing up liquid!)
  The after sun cream is my favourite as there is a flowery hint of sunflowers to it and it feels lovely on the skin.
  Thirdly and most importantly IT WORKS!!! In a normal day/evening I'd be bitten up to 20 times even with a net; in the last 4 days of using it, maybe 3 bites in total and that's only on bits of me I missed!

  As many have said, it's like having a barrier around you, the mossies seem to ignore the fact that you are even there, which if you're anything like me is a dream, seeing as how I react badly to their bites and can be the only person bitten in a room full of people (I'm sure it's because I'm tasty!)

  The shower gel/shampoo is really useful and the spray is like a disappearing cloak from Harry Potter…mossies just can't smell me out!  I've found that if I'm out for a long day (I work on a Fish Farm so water and heat are just ideal for mossies to hang out) if I put a little drop of the Citronella oil around the hem of my shorts this has helped out if my legs get wet and I don't have time to re spray.

  I set an incense stick to burn in the bedroom before we go to bed and this clears the buzzy little beasties out.   We watch them flying in the evenings and it's like incognito is messing with their radar…mwahahahah!!!!

  It's great to find a product that doesn't have DEET in it, mainly for the fact that DEET doesn't seem to work any longer -mossies just hold their noses before they bite, and also DEET is so potent I managed to remove my toe nail vanish through just spraying it round my ankles… not sure I want something like that on my skin! *shudder*

  I only wish I'd found you guys sooner, one dose of Dengue Fever before using incognito is enough thank you! No doubt I shall be placing an order again soon seeing as I'm out in Africa for several years.

  In terms of the ants – when I was sitting on my terrace reading, there were quite a few ants on the terrace – I sprayed a 'barrier' band on the terrace around my chair – the ants would not cross it.  I tried it at the doorway off the garden area as well – ants moved away from it and would not cross it.  It is the best natural product I have used to date for repelling insects – mosquitoes would hover briefly and fly away.  You should be distributing this in Canada!  Or-selling it at trade shows like Canada Blooms – gardeners and landscape workers would buy this!  And travel shows – you have a great future for your company.

  Just back from the jungles of Nepal. With incognito – less mosquito to protect me, I felt like I was wearing a suit of armour. The murderous little beasties never came near me and the place was teeming with them. The net was also brilliant and under it I slept well.

  I've just returned from two weeks in Tobago in the Caribbean and used incognito all the time I was there and can honestly say I was wasn't bitten once WHEN I WAS using it.

• I've become a convert almost to the point of evangelism

  I have for years suffered from a series of bad reactions to mosquito bites. My work took me all over the world and I spent most of the 'mozzy hours' in Africa and South America wrapped in mosquito netting as every product I tried failed to work.

  Last year my husband booked a holiday to one of the Greek Islands that is known for mosquito attacks. He then spent every spare minute looking for sites on the internet to find things that would prevent the tiny pests attacking me. He found your site. He read all about 'incognito'. He even spoke to a charming man at their offices who explained further how it worked and even told him all about the benefit of exfoliation etc, etc etc. My husband ordered a selection for me to try.

  My first response was – this will be rubbish and I thought my husband had been conned!

  On holiday I used the products assiduously. I loved the smell but doubted the efficacy. Day after day everyone else got bitten but I didn't. I spent an entire fortnight without one bite. Even my husband got bitten – and I've never known mosquitoes to like him – but they did on this island.

• Absolutely brilliant!

  When we visited your stand at the Times Destinations Show last year we had some dreadful memories of staying in a hotel in the Galapagos Islands where I had mosquito bites on mosquito bites (at one point 85 up one side of my body and a further 90-odd up the other side!). We had been using a DEET spray, which had the power to melt the plastic of our writing pens, but did nothing to help in the hotel room; there was such a large number of mosquitoes present largely due to open slats in the door to the balcony above wet ground (so your nets would have been brilliant). In Guayaquil a few days before, we had acquired several bites from mosquitoes in spite of being covered in our DEET spray and wearing two T-shirts !

  So we approached your exhibition stand with profound curiosity and determined to find something other than DEET. That does not mean we were easy to persuade! We have come across all manner of bright ideas over the years and there was always a risk that the idea was better than the product. But incognito does smell so good and is quite a powerful blast for a mammal nose, giving good promise that a mossie nose would be confounded! We purchased 2 bottles of the spray, the incense sticks and the soap for an imminent trip to the Caribbean, which has troublespots for malaria and dengue fever.

  Well – every time we went out covered in Incognito spray and having used the soap – we saw no mosquitoes! In Antigua I naively thought all would be fine and omitted to use any of your products, coming back home with 30+ bites! Yet a few nights previously we had been to a beach party in Jamaica where all the other guests had been complaining about the mosquitoes and we saw none, and certainly had no bites!

  Just recently we were in the Caribbean again. On the first day I was jet-lagged and forgot to use the spray or the soap – and my ankles and legs got bitten. After that we both used the soap and the spray and didn't see mosquitoes nearby, although they were visible in the distance. Absolutely brilliant! Instead of madly batting at the air every 5 seconds, we were able to relax and get on with the trip! • incognito works wonders

  I just wanted to let you know that incognito works wonders! I went on a cruise 2 weeks ago around the caribbean. I took an excursion through the rainforest in Antigua and Im so glad that I had the spray with me or else I would have been eaten alive. Other people on my excursion had lots of bites after it was over. Sadly, I had to share with my friend who went along on the journey with me and others who were without any protection now my bottle is almost empty!

  I hate bugs and also chemical repellants – I once used a chemical repellant and it destroyed my camera and dissolved my belt while I was wearing it! I tried many insect repellent without success. So I've been using your organic insect repellent spray for awhile now to keep the mosquitos and other insects away. I'm glad its Deet-free. I have a terrible reaction if I get bitten, so it is very important for me to avoid bites. Incognito has kept me bite-free in Thailand, Africa, France, Italy and here in the UK – so now its right at the top of my holiday checklist. I've also been avoiding bites from wasps, bees, midges, horseflies, etc as well thanks to your miracle shield. I still use mosquito netting at night when mosquitoes are around because if I don't use a net I will get eaten alive.   Last year I ordered some from a recommendation that was in the Sunday Times or Sat Guardian. I suffer badly from all insects so thought I would give it a try. It really was brilliant. Off to Las Vegas and travelling in the desert next month hence my order.

  We are just back from Monte Negro. We saw loads of people being eaten alive and swatting mosquitoes. None of the three of us were bitten even once. Incognito is fantastic. We are off to France now for a month and a daughter is going to Malaysia for a moth at Christmas so I want to order 4 more bottles.

  I read about it (incognito) in the Telegraph I think. I used it when we went to Africa on a Safari in October and it was fantasitic- only 2 bites the whole time we were away! I have recommended it to other friends and now want to use it for a trip to Vietnam.

• Glad I found you!

  I found you by doing a web search for "children's insect repellent". We are going to the Dominican Republic at the end of the month and I was not keen on putting DEET based products on my 3 and 5 year old (or myself for that matter), as had been recommended by my practice nurse.   I just wanted to let you know how well your mosquito protection spray works!

  I travel often to far off destinations, which sometimes are home to wondrous scenery, divine food, warm people and occasionally to those damn blood-sucking bugs!

  However on my recent trip to Goa I didn't mind the little critters so much, as i used your wonder spray and it actually kept the mosquitos at bay.

  A Big thank you for making my travels enjoyable again. I have just returned from Kenya and found your product great. For years I've been bugged by just about every insect under the sun, especially mosquitoes and travelling to most places was unbearable.

• No hesitation in recommending the product

  Traveling to a number of countries over the years, especially to places where the heat and humidity are severe has caused me a lot of discomfort and irritation from time to time as a result of being bitten by mosquitoes and other like minded creatures who take pleasure in biting individuals like myself. On a recent trip to the Caribbean I was lucky enough to buy a newly introduced product to the marketplace supplied by UK based incognito.   I am delighted to tell that on our recent trip to India totalling 20 days we used Incognito daily and not only did we keep malarial infection at bay we did not even get bitten by any type of insect let alone mosquito. • The blurb on incognito convinced me to try it.

  I'm off to Ghana on the 26th of January for the football (African Cup of Nations). I suffer badly when bitten by midges and mosquitoes, so I wanted something which would give me as much protection as possible. A Google search threw up your product and also mozibands which you can wear on wrists and/or ankles. I was initially going to go for these, but the blurb on incognito convinced me to try it.

• Charley Boorman – Long Way Down

  We used incognito on Long Way Down and it was fantastic. It worked really really well against the mosquitoes and does everything it says on the bottle.
